The owner of Utility Classroom came to us looking to build a website to allow people to find and register for his professional training workshops. He had an existing consulting business, and the first thought was that we’d just use that existing name and branding.
As we talked about the project, it became clear to both of us it would be better to launch the new site and business under a new name, with new branding. The whole idea of Utility Classroom is to teach somewhat dense, serious information in a way that’s fun and lively.
We ended up with a sort of retro-style logo that struck the right tone, along with a cheerful color palette, a bold illustration style and strong, clear typography, all presented in a 12-page brand guide.
That’s a good sign you need to talk with us.
